This is a picture of Miss Ida Roth who was known as a fortune teller in Wapwallopen.
According to my Mom, she was a very nice lady, and everyone liked her.
The pic is taken near the old TYDOL gas station which was across from the Til Hess Store.
It was probably taken in the late 30s to early 40s.  I remember going into that gas station many, many years ago.
What You may remember is rusty TYDOL sign hanging out front.
(for those of us living in Wapwallopen and knowing Dr. Santee, funny that a "fortune teller" is
found in front of his home!!  This TYDOL gas station that Roger refers to was located
next to the road across from Doc Santee's driveway)
